It's not so delightful that our favourite show the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' is coming to an end. Now it becomes necessary to reflect what it actually taught us apart from keeping us entertained, but instead giving us a completely new perspective especially on womanhood and Mothership.
But here we will not be talking of the mastermind of Kris Jenner behind the successful run of the show, but rather her eldest daughter Kourtney Kardashian, who was a major influence behind keeping us hooked on to the show, be it her tumultuous relationship with Scott Disick, her journey of motherhood, her face-off with her sisters or her mature outlook towards the life, this graceful and intelligent lady gave us all the entertainment and lessons we wanted.

In this post, we will be reflecting back on her not-so-healthy relationship with Scott Disick, their status as of the present. Kourtney's family asking her to reconsider her relationship with Scott and her new fling with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker.
When the KUTWK started Scott Disick was introduced as Kourtney's love interest and it was good watching the duo together doing all the lovey-dovey stuff together, but as they say, good things fall apart and they split briefly after Scott Disick was found texting a random woman creepy texts and it was from there their on and off relationship began.

Things seemed to be better when their first son Mason Disick was born, but soon the couple called it quits owing to Scott's substance abuse. Kourtney being a mother now had a second thought as her child's future and upbringing was important to her and gracefully let go of him.

Scott Disick didn't make up for what we would term as a loyal partner and was continuously caught in expressions of infidelity to Kourtney Kardashian despite having a second child, Penelope Disick with her. This neither was a good example for her kids to lead upon.
While Scott continued with his deeds Kourtney was out there raising her kids, though apparently it was shown how Scott had a good relationship with his kids, which we don't believe would have happened if it were not to be Kourtney who considered her kids to be her top priority and went for co-parenting.
The couple finally called it official quits in 2015 and Scott Disick went all gala with his desires and even went on to date almost half his age Sofia Ritchie, though the couple went on to date for 3 years until August 2020, but Scott as usual didn't find his solace even with her and was continuously on and off with her.
Meanwhile, Kourtney found it hard with her love life owing to maturity issues and finally opted out of it to spend time with her kids and love herself. Though she was pressurised by the production to share more of her life especially her romantic one, when she needed, peace the most.
Scott Disick re-considered his decisions and was seen as a rebound when he confronted Kourtney about not flirt with other guys as it made him jealous, even when she dated them. Kourtney along with all the viewers was pretty smirkingly uncomfortable as it clearly depicted a certain level of immaturity and a merry-go-round style, of how uncertain a person can be in his life after sabotaging all the good things he had.

One of the clips as released by E! It showed that not only Scott Disick, even the momager, Kris Jenner seemed pretty much convinced and while in the season finale when she and Kourtney were going through some of her and Scott's old pictures portraying their happy relationship.
Kris really became nostalgic and asked Kourtney to reconsider her stand on Scott as they have kids together and he is very much a part of their family. Kourtney didn't take it well and felt that Scott was definitely playing the victim card by luring her family members to believe that he wants to get back with her and he is trying to be consistent with his behaviour, which she didn't saw coming soon and said she was really done with all she has gone through and she is good without all of the drama that Scott brought into her life.

Kris Jenner alone was not of that opinion even her siblings Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian were much convinced with Scott's behaviour that they felt that Kourtney shouldn't be a hard nut when it came to him, and should keep her doors open.
But it was all of maturity and grace with which Kourtney had the most open and heartfelt open conversation with her sisters of how she feels and how she appreciates Scott for his behaviour recently but at the same time explaining her boundaries with him for her own mental peace and happiness.
Both Kim Kardashian and Kholé Kardashian really felt thorough it with Khloé completely agreeing with her and Kim realising how it was to be in her shoes as now she is in the same situation as that with her to be ex-husband Kanye West and completely empathised with her elder sister.

After all this, the fans were taken to surprise when Kourtney Kardashian announced it officially that she had started dating the Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and the couple were not so shy while involving in PDA. We all never had seen such a romantic side of Kourtney before and she herself confessed to it that she and Travis share what can be called a mature relationship.
While it was Scott Disick who grabbed eyeballs when he started to date Amelia Gray Hamlin who was 19 at the time when he was already 37, netizens were quick to call him out for such a huge age gap and his affinity towards teenage girls, which is considered not so ethical in some contexts, but both the partners seemed to be happy and shut down all the negative comments citing it's their life and they have all their own preferences.
